I grew up right here in Colorado Springs and still live in the same neighborhood I did when I was in high school. I graduated from Air Academy High School. I joined the United States Navy after high school so I could travel and earn money to go to college. I graduated from Colorado Christian University with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. I have been teaching for 14 years. I have taught kids in high school, middle school, Kindergarten, 1st grade and now 3rd grade. I am very excited about teaching 3rd grade this year!
I have beautiful daughter whose name is Laurel. She is 19 and is a sophomore at the University of Tampa in Florida. We have a dog named Scamp, a cat named Legion and a couple of African Dwarf Frogs that currently have no name. I LOVE hockey, GO AVS! I also like football, GO BRONCOS! I like to read, craft, and watch movies. In my classroom we will listen to music often as well as dance! Technology is one of my passions and I love learning how to do the latest and greatest things from my students.
